Curry to host holiday concert

Elk Point native Joe Curry will return home Friday, November 26, to host a free holiday concert at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Elk Point. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Curry will be joined by vocalists Cara Briggs Nevin, Renee Curry and Michael Suing, along with saxophonist Mary McWeeny. The audience will be invited to sing along with many of the selections.

     Curry is a 1999 graduate of Elk Point-Jefferson High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Minnesota. He has released two CDs of original piano music and has performed his music at events not only in the tri-state area but also in the Twin Cities. Curry is the son of Bill and Julie Curry of Elk Point.
