One of my friends, Katie, (also a former coworker from my first job) hosts an annual tradition with her husband Mark: the Paulson Christmas Film Festival. The setup? Monday nights with dinner, drinks and a Christmas movie each week for a month. Tonight’s movie was National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. The menu? Tacos and stingers. So good to see Katie and Mark, friends Shandra (another PR agency alum) and Peter and meet new folks too. The result? Awesome fun.

It snowed for practically 24 hours. On the plus side, my snow blower works.

With the weekend’s forecast, snow lovers in the Twin Cities will be pining for snow, no mo’.

It wasn’t the first nor the second time, nor the fourth or fifth, but the eighth time I reckon that I’d seen the Holidazzle parade roll down Nicollet Avenue in downtown Minneapolis. And it was every bit as much fun to watch (and as cold) as every year I can remember.

A few of the Target Spots and I head to the Guthrie Theater for a holiday performance. #SparkleHollyTwinkleJingley

I walk past this wall art on my skyway walk between office buildings and to my favorite coffee place (when I need an afternoon pick-me-up!)

I almost bought pine cones, that were brittle and broken on shelves in the store. But mom had found these, which fell free from the trees.

One from the Beer Series of photos, also including Mothership Monday and Summer Friday. I first ‘discovered’ this beer on my 2011 Alaskan vacation, and it’s now one of my favorites. Since my street name is the same as the city where it’s brewed, it’s even more appropriate to keep stocked in the fridge.
